SITE OR THEME SPECIFIC EVENTS

We get called to do all kinds of events. We can’t tell you the number of times we’ve heard this phrase “We have this crazy event, and we wondered what Bash the Trash can do for us…”.  From unusual events to unique venues, we’ve seen it all!

  • Created a museum-wide series of performances, parades and spectacles on the theme of “Sea Turtles” for the American Museum of Natural History in NYC

  • For a “Celebration of Containers” at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in DC we performed a concert with instruments built from containers of all sizes and shapes, then built instruments from recycled containers, culminating in a parade around the museum.

  • For Carnegie Hall’s “Family Days” we take over a floor of their Education Center and turn it into a musical wonderland, where kids build instruments with our performers and then join in to perform with our orchestra

  • When the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas and the next-door Discovery Science Museum wanted a STEM-to-STEAM event they came to us, and we crafted a week-long immersive exploration of science, sound and sustainability for local students
