TRASH JAM! SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

Make (sound) waves; and start your own band!  This is the follow-up school assembly to FOUND SOUND SCIENCE

Trash Jam takes your students deeper into the science of sound - and then gives the creative keys to create their own Trash Band! In this immersive third school assembly of the series we transform students into sound waves; give tips and tricks on making environmentally friendly music with classmates, friends and family; and finish with a hilarious onstage jam session in which everyone gets involved.

  • Everything your students need to start their own Trash Band!  

  • Third school assembly in a four-year series of school assemblies

  • With all-new songs and demos, and of course strange new instruments 

  • Students become sound waves as we explore the nature of waves around us in an immersive kinesthetic STEM to STEAM demonstration 

  • Kids discover how to make their own environmentally-friendly “Trash Band”, and create their own music with classmates, friends and family 

  • Culminating onstage jam session with students (and teachers!) - everyone gets involved!

  • One school assembly: $1550

  • Two back-to-back school assemblies: $1895

  • Travel fee may apply outside of NY/NJ/CT or Boston metro areas

  • Currently, the Sustainable Sounds school assembly and follow-up hands-on school workshops are the only programs available in Boston
