TRASH TO TECHNO! ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

The ultimate combination of low and high tech. Found-object sound sources (trash) are sampled, manipulated and transformed through science and technology into danceable beats. Along the way we’ll address issues of sustainability and plastic pollution, acoustics, and music production. Students will learn how studios work with sound to create sound effects, as well as how DJs layer sounds to create electronic dance music.

LOGISTICS:

  • 3 performers (other configurations available) 

  • 45 mins (recommended)

  • approx. 250 audience members per middle school assembly

FEES:

  • One school assembly with three musicians: $1550

  • Two back-to-back school assemblies with three musicians: $1895

  • One school assembly with two musicians: $1275

  • Two back-to-back school assemblies with two musicians: $1550

  • Travel fee may apply outside of NY/NJ/CT metro areas

  • Other show configurations and US regions are available so please Contact Us to discuss the best arrangement so we can bring the best school programs to your middle school!
